iciHaiti - Politic : Haiti renews its commitment to the Alliance for Security, Justice and Development
On Friday, April 25, 2025, Alfred Fils Metellus, Minister of Economy and Finance, representing Haiti, reaffirmed, on behalf of the Government, Haiti's commitment to the Alliance for Security, Justice, and Development.

During his speech, Minister Metellus highlighted the increasingly complex challenges faced by the Haitian population, particularly the almost systematic destruction of basic infrastructure, such as schools, hospitals, and institutions. He pledged to actively contribute to the implementation of concrete and sustainable solutions through the Alliance's Action Plan.

Thus, thanks to regional cooperation, the most vulnerable populations, the thousands of internally displaced persons, and young Haitians will finally be able to benefit from the restoration of a climate of security and peace in the country.

Learn more about the Alliance for Security, Justice, and Development :
Created in December 2024 with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Alliance is a regional platform composed and led by 22 of the Bank's borrowing member countries. The objective of the Alliance for Security, Justice, and Development is to foster dialogue, cooperation, and collective action to combat the growth and influence of organized crime in Latin America and the Caribbean.
