iciHaiti - Diaspora : 4th edition of the «Lakay se Lakay» Fair
It has become customary for residents of the Greater Montreal area, particularly those in the suburbs of Laval, to participate in the major craft and gastronomic fair Lakay se Lakay. Organized for the past four years by NAP Créations and the Group for the Promotion of Artisans and Artists of Ethno-Cultural Diversity, this fair takes place every May, Haitian Heritage Month.

The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal, in an effort to promote the nation's cultural riches and provide support, responded to the organizers' call to make this event a success.

Artists, craftspeople, and restaurateurs, hard at work for decades, offered the public a host of quality products, whose originality bordered the boundaries of human understanding.

Alongside this superb craft fair, the public enjoyed a dance performance, a fashion show, and an extraordinary concert by artist Jean-Jean Roosevelt.
