iciHaïti - NOTICE : Serious administrative irregularities at OFATMA
The General Directorate of the Office of Workplace Accident, Sickness, and Maternity Insurance (OFATMA) informs its policyholders and affiliated healthcare providers that the institution's accumulated debts to its healthcare partners result from the fact that no legally signed contract validated by the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) has been found in the institution's archives.

Faced with these serious administrative irregularities, the new administration, in order to maintain continuity of services and provide justice to healthcare providers, has quickly taken legal steps with the relevant authorities and the Administrative Council of Social Security Bodies (CAOSS) to urgently regularize this harmful situation. To this end, a request for an exceptional exemption has already been submitted to the relevant hierarchical authorities to expedite payment to healthcare providers. A Memorandum of Understanding has also been submitted to service providers for the full settlement of arrears, and a new contract will be offered to them in accordance with the law.

The OFATMA General Directorate reaffirms its commitment to honoring its financial commitments in the name of State continuity within the limits of the law and is already working with its partners to improve the quality of services and, above all, to expand access throughout the country.

It thanks everyone for their understanding during these exceptional times the country is experiencing.
