This Friday, May 16, 2025, the National Book Directorate (DNL) organized the awards ceremony for the first edition of the "Des aventures Dessinées" (DAD) (Drawn Adventures) comic book competition, presenting the three finalists out of over 300 entries.

List of Winners :
1st Luc-Berlin Matilot, Prize 400,000 Gourdes
2nd Rose Berline Matilot, Prize 250,000 Gourdes
3rd Jean Francisco Sylva, Prize 150,000 Gourdes

In a discussion between the three winners and Ms. Stéphania Chedel, member of the jury, the public was able to experience the storyline developed through the three winning entries.

The activity was enhanced by cultural interludes hosted by singer Deréval Modelène (famous for Maude), dancer Ifender Le Zoulou, and slam poet Manuscrit.
