iciHaiti - Haiti vs Canada : Who is Mahe-Lee Caron, the Grenadières' new goalkeeper?
Among the Grenadières called up to face Canada in two friendly matches on May 31 and June 3, 2025 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-44901-icihaiti-football-haiti-vs-canada-friendly-matches-list-of-grenadieres.html, a new face is attracting attention : goalkeeper Mahe-Lee Caron, 18 years old since March 1st. She is the only new player on the list drawn up by French coach Malou Quignette for this double friendly.

A promising goalkeeper, Mahe-Lee currently plays for Western Illinois University. Last February, she represented Haiti in the FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifiers, held in Antigua and Barbuda.

Born in 2007 in Canada to a Haitian mother from Port-au-Prince and a Canadian father, she will begin studying political science next July with the ambition of becoming a lawyer.

Her dream ? To represent the Haitian national team at the highest level.

"The experience with the U-20 national team was a great opportunity to showcase my potential. I'm very happy that it allowed me to be called up to the senior team, where I hope to realize my dream."

Since taking over as head coach of the Grenadières, French coach Malou Quignette has been making numerous attempts at this strategic position. For this training camp, Mahe-Lee will complete the goalkeeping trio with Pietrus Kaïna César, who had remarkable performances against Morocco and Chile, and Elieka Gabriel.

Match Schedule in Canada :
