In order to consolidate areas recaptured by law enforcement after various clashes with criminal gangs in the commune of Kenscoff, the Haitian National Police (PNH), through several specialized units such as the Motorized Intervention Brigade (CBIM) and SWAT, has increased its patrols in various areas of the commune.
PNH officers, as part of a patrol, visited the Kenscoff municipal market, which reopened on Friday, May 23, 2025, after a month of closure due to armed violence.
