iciHaiti - Politic : Swearing-in of 17 Labor Inspectors and Conciliators
On Monday, May 26, 2025, under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), 17 labor inspectors and conciliators were sworn in before the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, in accordance with Article 421 of the Labor Code.

These labor inspectors and conciliators will be assigned respectively to :

At the Bizoton Office :
Nathalie CIVILE, Jean Bertony JOSEPH, Jean Moise LUMERANT, Esdras PONCELEY.

At the West Regional Office :
John Bengy CARBOUET, Junior DORESMA, Idaline JEAN, Rosulmé Roselie JEANPIERRE, Dieuseul JOSEPH, Jean Luc JOSEPH, Louis Pierre Simon JOSEPH, Prime Ruth JOSEPH, Franchar LAURORE, Magdaline LOUIS, Germa PERICLES, Marie Gislène ULYSSE, Eddy MICHEL.

Among their missions is the supervision of companies in the capital and ensuring compliance with current labor standards, said Ms. Guerline Jean Louis, Director of Labor at MAST.



Ms. Jean-Louis also mentioned that other swearing-in ceremonies are planned in several departments across the country.

Me Bernard Saint-Vil, Dean of the Tribunal, urged the inspectors and conciliators to demonstrate impartiality in the exercise of their duties, in order to maintain a balance between the interests of workers and employers.
