iciHaiti - Grand’Anse : Construction of the Médissant footbridge progresses

As part of the initiatives supported by the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) in the Grand'Anse region, the construction of the footbridge crossing the Médisant River is progressing significantly thanks to the Safety Net Strengthening Program for Vulnerable Populations (HA-J0005).

Implemented by the FAES, the construction is being supervised by the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), an experienced operator in community projects.

Preliminary work, including excavation and excavation, has been completed. The shaping of steel bars and the development of the foundation beams are currently underway.

This 30m² structure is expected to facilitate travel for local residents, improve access to essential services, and stimulate economic exchange in the region.
