iciHaïti - FAES : Large-scale aid distribution for more than 7,000 vulnerable households
As part of its mission to support the most disadvantaged populations, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) carried out a major distribution of food kits (7,280) and health kits (7,280) from June 6 to 8, 2025, to 7,087 households in extreme poverty.

This initiative is part of the FAES's ongoing efforts to respond quickly and in a targeted manner to the growing humanitarian needs of urban communities most exposed to food and health insecurity.

Operation Details :
Friday, June 6, 2025 :
Locations : Firefighters, Bois-Verna/PDI (Sogesol and Indigene)
• 745 beneficiary households
• 775 food and health kits distributed

Saturday, June 7, 2025 :
Locations : Bourdon, École Colombie, Ministry of Communication, OPC
• 4,177 beneficiary households
• 4,285 food and health kits distributed

Sunday, June 8, 2025 :
Locations : Bourdon – Fusion, KID, JOKA
• 2,165 beneficiary households
• 2,220 food and health kits distributed

This operation, which was made possible thanks to rigorous logistical coordination and the commitment of teams on the ground, provided relief to thousands of families living in extreme poverty by providing them with basic necessities.

Through this intervention, the FAES reaffirms its commitment to concrete, rapid, and sustainable action in the face of social emergencies. The FAES warmly thanks all the partners and collaborators who contributed to the success of this mission. The FAES remains mobilized; its humanitarian commitment continues, as needed.
