On Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, the 4th edition of the Joy of Living Festival (Joie de Vivre Festival) was held, organized by the regional non-profit community organization "Accompanying Immigrant Women of the Outaouais" (Accompagnement des femmes immigrantes de l'Outaouais - AFIO).

This event was a true celebration of cultural diversity, bringing together several Canadian diplomatic missions.

Haitian culture was showcased through gastronomy, art, crafts, and literature. The Embassy of Haiti's booth welcomed many visitors, all delighted to discover and taste our specialties : djonjon rice, griot rice, plantain rice, potato bread, pâté kòde, fresco, sweet makos, and more...

The Embassy of Haiti extends a huge thank you to our exhibitors: BSB Délices Leidy Belizaire, Mosaique interculturelle, Zinice Créations, Kric? Krac!, Confiseries Volsaint, Banfest Ottawa, Sleen Painting, and Gaspard Dorélien, who proudly represented Haiti and offered the public an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience.
