The Forum of Former Prime Ministers of Haiti (FAPM) expresses its deep concern about the sanctions imposed by certain foreign states on Haitian citizens without investigation, trial, evidence, or possibility of defense.

These measures, particularly those imposed by Canada and the United States, deviate from the fundamental principles of justice and sovereignty and have produced no concrete results :

- No gang leaders arrested;
- No financial networks dismantled;
- No strengthened institutional support.

Forum Demands :
- Immediate suspension of all sanctions without publishable basis;
- Establishment of an independent Haitian-international commission to review the cases;
- Respect for the right to defense, transparency, and fair justice.

The fight against impunity must not become a political tool at the expense of fundamental rights. Haiti deserves responsible international partners, not accusations without trial.

Together, let's demand an end to arbitrary sanctions and the restoration of a sovereign and just rule of law.
