iciHaiti - Health : National consultation to validate the GFF Investment File 19/06/2025 10:58:38
This case is a strategic document developed by the Haitian Government, in collaboration with its partners, to mobilize and coordinate financing for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) and nutrition. "Our ambition is clear : to build a resilient and equitable health system," declared the Minister, reaffirming his commitment to pregnant women and vulnerable populations. This case aims to : • Improve the health of women, children, and adolescents; • Mobilize and better utilize domestic and external resources; • Strengthen the health system, particularly in vulnerable areas; • Promote the creation of a multisectoral committee for enhanced governance; • Align national priorities with the Sustainable Development Goals • Train community health workers and modernize information systems. Dr. Cassandre Milord, Director of the Family Health Directorate (DSF), welcomed this investment project as a true lever for economic growth and hope for communities. She expressed her gratitude to all partners, executives of the Ministry of Health, representatives of other ministries and local stakeholders, for their work often carried out in difficult conditions, which made the development and presentation of this document possible.
