The Haitian national amputee football team, under the leadership of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, Génard Joseph, met with the press this week to mobilize public opinion around the participation of our Grenadiers in the qualifiers for the Men's Amputee Football World Cup, scheduled for July 5-12, 2025, in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico.

The team, already internationally recognized for its remarkable performances, with impressive victories against France [6-0], the United States [6-2], and Mexico [4-2], now aspires to write a new page of history for Haiti in this global competition.

As part of this mobilization, a solidarity match will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Park Sainte-Thérèse in Pétion-ville. The public is invited to show their support by purchasing admission tickets to contribute to the team's travel and preparation costs.

This sporting and patriotic event is an opportunity for every citizen, institution, and business to demonstrate that national unity can open the doors to possibility, even in the face of adversity.
