The Haitian Chancellor took the opportunity to make a passionate plea regarding Haitians facing difficult migration situations in the United States. The discussions also covered several other major points, including : • The removal of Haiti from the list of countries whose nationals are prohibited from entering the United States https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45056-haiti-flash-trump-bans-haitians-from-entering-the-usa.html • The negative humanitarian impact of the cessation of USAID programs in Haiti; • Combating the illicit trafficking of arms and ammunition into Haiti from the United States; • Urgent support to the PNH in terms of specialized training, equipment, weapons, and ammunition to combat armed gangs; • Strengthening the technical and operational capacities of the Kenyan-led Multinational Mission and the Haitian security forces; • Conducting the constitutional referendum and organizing the next general elections in Haiti.
