iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Twinning planned with Valparaíso in Chile 11/07/2025 09:18:55
This meeting, which was part of a spirit of decentralized cooperation and city diplomacy, provided an opportunity to explore various avenues for collaboration between Chile and the City of Cap-Haïtien. At the heart of the discussions, the two officials emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral exchanges, particularly in the areas of trade, tourism, vocational training, and sustainable development. Both parties agreed to work together toward a strong partnership that could stimulate local economies and improve citizens' living conditions. A highlight of the meeting was the shared interest expressed in the possibility of a twinning agreement between Cap-Haitien and the port city of Valparaíso.
