Haitian Ambassador to Washington Lionel Delatour hosted a cocktail reception in the Embassy's reception halls in honor of the official visit of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé.

This cocktail reception allowed the Prime Minister to engage with strategic partners and deliver a message of resilience, hope, and commitment to Haiti's recovery.

High-ranking American and diplomatic figures graced the event with their presence, including representatives from the National Security Council, the State Department, and the ambassadors of Chile and Jamaica. Was also present the representatives from Canada, Taiwan, the Czech Republic, and members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The reception brought together influential figures from the intellectual, business, and diaspora communities, including representatives of think tanks, private sector leaders, and partner organizations.

In a friendly atmosphere, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his government's commitment to restoring security, organizing credible and democratic elections, and strengthening stability in Haiti, while addressing concerns related to migration issues.
