On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Kenyan Consul General in Port-au-Prince, Noor Y. Gabow, paid his first-ever courtesy call to the Commander of the MSS, Godfrey Otunge. Gabow was welcomed by the Force Commander, who then introduced him to the MSS leadership and briefed him on the troops' progress in the security mission.

During his address to the troops, Gabow conveyed greetings from Kenya's President, William Ruto, and the Kenyan people at large. He sincerely appreciated the personnel for the utmost professionalism and discipline that they have exhibited and commended the MSS leadership.

The Consul General encouraged the troops to continue fostering collaboration between members from different contingents and to continue their support to the Haitian Police in achieving the common goal of a safer and more prosperous Haiti.

He further assured the troops of the Consulate's support in providing essential consular services, while extending his best wishes for success in carrying out their mission.
