iciHaiti - PNH recruitment : More than 13,000 young people have passed the PNH intellectual exam (video)

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, more than 13,000 young men and women took the intellectual recruitment exams for the Haitian National Police (PNH) in several public schools in the capital and some provincial towns.

In a context of insecurity, this massive turnout demonstrates the determination and commitment of this generation to serve and defend the country.

The police union (SPNH-17) respectfully salutes each candidate mobilized for the exam, which demonstrates that despite the poverty and terror that sow unrest, young people still believe in the mission of the PNH and are ready to mobilize for the security of the population.

"We welcome this gesture because it gives hope that the country still has young people ready to take on the security challenge, despite numerous obstacles," said Garry Jean-Baptiste, National Coordinator of the SPNH-17, who is issuing several calls to officials, including :

- Guarantee complete transparency throughout the recruitment process, from review to final selection;

- Provide new recruits (candidates) with adequate training and optimal security throughout the process;

- Offer new police officers good working conditions to prevent them from being victims of mistreatment or political manipulation.
