iciHaïti - NOTICE : 2025 Visual Creation Fund, call for applications

As part of the Support Program for Creation and Artists, the Art Center has launched the 2025 Visual Creation Fund and a call for applications. The overall objective is to promote and stimulate artistic creation in the visual arts sector in Haiti. More specifically, this call aims to support Haitian artists in the development and promotion of their artistic projects for an amount not exceeding US$2,500 (two thousand five hundred US dollars).

I. Eligibility Criteria :
This call for applications is open to visual artists residing in Haiti. Applicants must :
• Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in the visual arts (painting, sculpture, video art, photography, etc...);
• Currently residing in Haiti.

II. Type of Actions :
Eligible actions must : contribute to the creation or promotion of an artistic project, such as the purchase of materials dedicated to artistic practice, exhibitions, publications, etc.

The following are not eligible :
• Projects funding participation in workshops, seminars, conferences, etc.
• Actions funding scholarships or training;
• Debt repayment.

The project duration cannot exceed 5 months, with an expected end date of March 2026. Interested individuals are invited to complete the online application form at: https://forms.gle/fZVhdx7y3EiYE2pu7

The application must include :
1. The completed online application form. 2. The completed budget (Please download the budget template proposed by the Art Center, complete it, and attach it to your application. 3. A copy of a valid ID
4. Photos of at least 5 works
No incomplete applications will be considered.

III. Indicative Schedule :
• Call for applications announced: Tuesday, June 3, 2025
• Application deadline : Monday, August 25, 2025
• Project presentation session for shortlisted candidates : Monday, September 15, 2025
• Results announced : Thursday, September 25, 2025
