iciHaiti - Saint Jean du Sud : The reforestation project on the south coast is progressing

As part of the Safety Net Strengthening Program for Vulnerable Populations (HA-J0005), the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) continues its efforts to revitalize Haiti's southern coast through significant reforestation initiatives.
The nursery established in Coteaux, in the locality of Saint-Jean-du-Sud, is now operational and ready to provide the region with seedlings, essential for restoring ecosystems and preserving biodiversity.
Specializing in fruit trees and endangered native species, this nursery was developed under the expert coordination of the Association of Volunteers for International Service (AVSI) with funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). This project directly benefits 840 people in the region.
