This amount is used to cover a range of services including cleaning (painting) for the school, the production of leaflets, the purchase of papers for assessment periods scheduled in the school calendar, and other related educational activities. Furthermore, the Ministry takes this opportunity to remind the public that school contribution fees are prohibited for the first and second cycles of primary education. The State is responsible for the care of students from the first to the sixth year of primary education. It allocates one thousand Gourdes (1,000) per student to national schools. No public school official is authorized to charge additional fees. Any violator will be punished in accordance with applicable regulations. IH/ iciHaiti
