iciHaiti - Politic : Gradual deployment of trainees from the Youth Employment Initiation Program
On Monday morning, August 18, 2025, as part of the gradual deployment of interns in the Youth Employment Initiation Program (PIJE), Charles Ernest Chatellier, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of the Treasury and Public Accounting (DGTCP), uand over to 63 interns their letters of assignment.

Chatelier provided them with advice on how to ensure the smooth running of their internships (discipline, performance, proactivity, intellectual curiosity, etc...)

He also emphasized the importance for young people to respect the Codes of Ethics of the Civil Service, particularly professional discretion and professional discipline.

Charles E. Chatelier, accompanied by the directors of the General Directorate, then organized a guided tour of several technical departments for the interns. These interns will be assigned to accounting positions, the Public Accounts Department, the Treasury Inspection Department, the Treasury and Debt Department, etc...

Jean Bouco Jean Jacques, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), reiterated that the main objective of the program is to support skilled young Haitians toward employment by promoting their socio-economic integration through short-term internships paid by the Public Treasury.

The gradual deployment of the 239 interns from the first cohort of the PIJE, following its reactivation, will take place in public institutions until next week.
