On August 25, Me Kevenot Dorvil, General Coordinator of the National School Meal Program (PNCS), and Vincent Hommeril, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Action at the French Embassy (by secondary cooperation delegation), signed a new grant agreement for the 2025-2026 academic year, providing approximately €2.5 million to prepare for the start of the school year.

The signing of this agreement demonstrates France's commitment to continuing to support the National School Meal Policy and Strategy (PSNAS) implemented by the PNCS, thereby contributing to strengthening the Haitian education system.

France's total food aid to Haiti for the 2024-2025 academic year was approximately €8.5 million, via the PNCS, Solidarités International, and the World Food Program (WFP). This assistance has enabled nearly 82,000 students across the country to receive a daily meal.
