On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the Cap-Haitien municipal administration launched Operation Konbit, a cleaning campaign and the installation of new garbage collection trucks throughout the municipal area.

The "katye lakayan m pi pwòp" (My Cleanest Neighborhood) contest was launched in the same spirit, to raise awareness among all citizens of the importance of working together to keep the city clean.

The municipal administration invites all citizens, organizations, public and private institutions, particularly the National Solid Waste Management Service and Public Works, as well as the youth sector, to join this major "konbit" movement.

The Municipal Commission counts on the support and mobilization of every individual, every family, and every community.

"The cleanliness of the city is everyone's business."
