As part of the Ministry of Agriculture's Program to Support Productivity in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Improve Rural Infrastructure for Market Access (PAPAIR), approximately 400 farmers enthusiastically participated in the agricultural input fair (September 16-18, 2025), which took place in Port-Margot, the first communal section of the Grande Plaine (North Department).

The fair featured free banana, yam, and ginger seedlings distributed to farmers through various suppliers, in collaboration with several partners of the Ministry of Agriculture, represented by the North Departmental Coordination.

A total of 1,100 farmers were selected to benefit from these agricultural incentives during this fair.

This program receives financial support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP).
