iciHaiti - Bassin Bleu : The PNH regains control of the Police Station

Following the attack on the Bassin-Bleu police station in the Northwest Department by armed individuals identified as members of the criminal gang "Kokorat San Ras" the Haitian National Police (PNH) regained full control of the premises, thanks to a tactical operation conducted by its specialized units.
After sowing panic and partially burning the building https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45811-haiti-news-zapping.html, the attackers occupied the police station. However, a rapid, coordinated, and strategic response by the PNH drove the bandits away and reestablished police presence in the area.
At the same time, security and search operations are currently underway, with a view to gradually restoring order, stability, and tranquility for the benefit of the local population.
