The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the opening of the selection process for the Postgraduate Student Agreement Program (PEC-PG), for admission to Brazil in 2026. This program aims, among other things, to promote knowledge exchange and cultural diversity; to broaden the cultural horizons of Brazilians by allowing foreign students to bring new academic and scientific perspectives.

Those admitted to this edition will be able to pursue their master's or doctoral studies at Brazilian higher education institutions, starting in August 2026.

Eligibility requirements :

• Not having Brazilian nationality;

• Not holding a permanent residence permit in Brazil;

• Not taking a course in Brazil at the same level of study as planned;

• Not having received a master's scholarship from a Brazilian federal public entity;

• Proficiency in at least one of the languages ​​accepted by the program (English, Spanish, Portuguese).
