Divisional Commissioner Sem Calixte, Acting Departmental Director of the North Police, held an important meeting with several stakeholders from the education, commercial, and industrial sectors to discuss the security conditions necessary for the reopening of classes on October 1st for the new 2025-2026 academic year.

The discussions focused on several points, such as securing school spaces, managing traffic around schools, and a concerted mobilization of local stakeholders to ensure a smooth return to school.

Several prominent figures took part in this important meeting, including : Patrick Almonor, Deputy Mayor of Cap-Haitien; Raoul Leconte, Regional Director of the Ministry of Public Works; Eddy Jules, Divisional Inspector, Head of the Traffic Service for the City of Cap-Haitien; and Ms. Isellande Salomon, representative of the Ministry of National Education.
