iciHaiti - Diplomacy : Discover the Haitian Ambassador to Canada
Anthony Dessources is the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Haiti to Canada, a position he has held since September 24, 2025, and previously held between 2003 and 2004.

Dessources earned a master's degree in agricultural business and project management from the Center for Financial, Economic, and Banking Studies in Paris, and a bachelor's degree in agronomy from the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine at the State University of Haiti. Dessources is also a graduate of the Cap-Haitien Law School and was admitted to an international seminar on the restructuring and privatization of public enterprises in Turin, Italy.

Anthony Dessources has held several positions, including Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Deputy Director of the Diocesan Institute of Adult Education, Coordinator of Planning and Development Projects within various ministries, member of the presidential cabinet, and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has also contributed to the guidance and training of Haitian diplomatic officials and future officials. He has served as an international relations consultant for public institutions and taught at the Center for Diplomatic and International Studies (CEDI).

Dessources has expertise in natural resource management, local development, institutional communications, community mobilization, project management, and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. He possesses extensive knowledge of the Haitian territory and the national public administration.
