iciHaiti - Elections : Prime Minister awaits CEP calendar
Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé held a new working session this week with members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP).

During this session, the Head of Government welcomed the establishment of the new CEP office https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45988-haiti-news-zapping.html , which marks an important step towards strengthening the country's democratic institutions.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to reaffirm the Government's firm and unconditional support for the electoral institution. He emphasized the Executive's commitment to supporting the CEP in all necessary steps to ensure the proper conduct of the electoral process, in a spirit of transparency, inclusion, and credibility.

The Head of Government also encouraged the CEP to provide the country, as soon as possible, with an electoral decree and a clear calendar to ensure the smooth running of the upcoming elections and strengthen the Haitian people's confidence in the democratic process.

Reaffirming his commitment to free, fair, and inclusive elections, Prime Minister Fils-Aimé reiterated that holding credible elections remains a national priority and a decisive step towards the country's stability and institutional renewal.
