iciHaiti - Disability : Massage therapy training continues successfully

The training in massage therapy and the fight against gender-based violence (GBV), initiated by the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) in collaboration with the United Nations agency for sexual and reproductive health (UNFPA), the Ministry of Public Health, the organization "Witdenm," and UNESCO, continues successfully. https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-45390-icihaiti-disabled-professional-training-in-massage-therapy.html

The participants, all people living with disabilities, recently received their professional scrubs, symbolizing a new step in their careers. These scrubs will allow them to integrate various hospitals in the capital to complete their practical internships.

This innovative initiative, which aims to promote the socio-professional inclusion of people with disabilities, is made possible thanks to the leadership of Secretary of State Génard Joseph and the unwavering support of UNFPA, a loyal partner of the BSEIPH.

The graduation ceremony for these learners is scheduled for December 2025, marking a victory for the autonomy, dignity, and full participation of people with disabilities in national life.
