For the second year in a row, our star Melchie Daelle Dumornay (22 years old), aka "Corventina" has won the CONCACAF Women's Player of the Year award, making history by becoming only the second woman to win the title twice (2024 and 2025) after American Alex Morgan (2013 and 2016).

"Corventina" was named UEFA Women's Champions League Young Player of the Season for the second consecutive year and was selected for the competition's Best XI. She scored six goals during the tournament, including two in the semi-final against Arsenal. She contributed to her club's league victory and finished as the second-highest scorer with 15 goals.

Should be noted that Melchie is also one of three CONCACAF players nominated for the Ballon d'Or this year and is also nominated for the FIFA Best Women's Player award, which will be presented on December 5, 2025, at "The Best FIFA Football Awards" ceremony.
