iciHaiti - Security : 23 police officers undergoing specialized training in Colombia

As part of efforts to strengthen the professional capacities of the Haitian National Police (PNH), a first group of 23 officers, including one woman, left Haiti this week for Colombia to participate in specialized training designed to enhance their technical and operational skills.

This initiative is part of a bilateral cooperation program between the PNH and the Colombian National Police (PNC), supported by the Colombian government. Scheduled to last 12 months, this project aims to train nearly 400 Haitian police officers in areas such as public safety, crime prevention, and complex situation management.

The PNH General Directorate welcomes this collaboration and reaffirms its commitment to the ongoing training of its personnel. The goal is to build a more professional, more effective police force, fully dedicated to serving the Haitian people.
