iciHaiti - Kenscoff : Large-scale offensive by law enforcement
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, around 5:00 a.m. in Kenskoff, several specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH), supported by a kamikaze drone unit, launched an offensive against members of the "Viv Ansamn" terrorist coalition, who had been entrenched for several months in Viar, Godet, Bélot, and other nearby areas. The objective of this operation was to neutralize all terrorists attempting to control this municipality overlooking Port-au-Prince and to regain control of these strategic areas.

Heavy gunfire was heard throughout the day, and several drone strikes were reported, attesting to the intensity of the fighting. The operation could last several more hours or even days, depending on the evolution of the positions on the ground; no casualty figures are currently available.

The police remain confident of the success of this operation.

Furthermore, law enforcement freed two hostages on Saturday who had been kidnapped and held for 21 days.
