iciHaiti - NOTICE : Scholarship competition for writing theses in Creole
The Haitian Creole Academy (AKA) and the State University of Haiti (UEH), through its Institute of Applied Linguistics (ILA), are launching a scholarship competition for writing theses in Creole.

Both institutions invite all ILA students who have completed their coursework and are currently writing their theses to participate.

Application Period :
Applications are open until February 5, 2026.

Location and Procedures :
Interested students must complete the application form available on the Academy's website : www.akademikreyol.net

Required Documents for Application :

- Valid identification;
- ILA student ID card;
- Proof of completion of all coursework;
- An online application form;
- A preliminary thesis proposal, not exceeding 10 pages.

Benefits for Selected Candidates :
Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

- The assistance of a thesis supervisor;
- A grant of 50,000 Gourdes.

AKA and ILA will publish the best theses in book form after the defense.
