The State University of Haiti (UEH) and Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, Morocco, officially signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement aimed at strengthening academic, scientific, and institutional collaboration between the two institutions.

The signing took place at the Ibn Tofail University headquarters, in the presence of Daoui Driss, representing the President of the Moroccan institution, and Dieuseul Prédélus, Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH).

This agreement marks a major step in the development of academic relations between Haiti and Morocco, in the spirit of South-South cooperation, based on solidarity, the exchange of expertise, and complementarity.

The agreement provides for the implementation of joint actions in the following areas : reciprocal academic mobility for students, exchanges and mobility for faculty members, establishment of joint Master's degree programs, joint supervision of doctoral theses, development and execution of joint research projects, joint organization of seminars, conferences, and scientific activities, sharing of educational, documentary, and scientific resources, and development of joint initiatives in higher education and research.

In his address at the ceremony, Rector Dieuseul Prédélus emphasized the strategic importance of this agreement for the State University of Haiti (UEH) : "This agreement aligns with our vision of modernizing and internationalizing the UEH. By collaborating with an institution of excellence such as Ibn Tofail University, we are opening up new opportunities for our students and faculty members, and strengthening our integration within the international academic community."

The Rector also emphasized the importance of South-South cooperation, which, for him, is not just a slogan, but an essential strategy for establishing balanced partnerships based on mutual respect and adapted to our realities."

The agreement between the State University of Haiti (UEH) and Ibn Tofail University is for a five-year term, renewable. It serves as a model of international academic collaboration and strengthens the historical ties between Haiti and Morocco.

The UEH welcomes this strategic partnership, which will contribute to the development of higher education, the improvement of the quality of scientific research, and the training of new generations of professionals and researchers in both countries.
