On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, James Monazard, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Industrial Park Company (SONAPI), accompanied by Patrick Justin, Director General of the Park, Vladimir André Paraison, Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), and Jean Bouco Jean Jacques, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, inaugurated a security and access control system for the Metropolitan Industrial Park.

This strategic initiative provides SONAPI with modern and efficient tools, adapted to current and future security requirements. These systems strengthen the surveillance of people and vehicles, improve access control, and ensure better protection of the Industrial Park's assets and infrastructure.

The result of a comprehensive institutional strengthening plan initiated by Minister Monazard, this initiative marks a new beginning toward more rigorous governance, increased investment security, and the creation of a stable and attractive working environment for all stakeholders in the industrial park.
