iciHaiti - Economy : Moncash and Unibank strengthen access to digital financial services

Digicel Haiti/MonCash and UNIBANK announce the implementation of their integration, marking a major milestone for the Haitian financial ecosystem.

This strategic collaboration aims to offer customers of both institutions a unified, modern, and seamless experience for their daily transactions. This interconnection is already operational and accessible to customers of both institutions.

Thanks to this interoperability, users can make direct transfers between UNIBANK and MonCash account holders, transfer funds more easily, and benefit from enhanced connectivity between traditional banking services and mobile money.

"This integration represents a major step forward for financial services in Haiti. Together, we are facilitating access to fast, reliable, and secure services for all users," jointly stated the leaders of Digicel Haiti/MonCash and UNIBANK. "Our shared goal is to simplify our customers' lives and offer them more ways to manage their money with confidence."

Key Benefits of Integration :

- Instant transfers from the MonCash wallet to the UNIBANK bank account (W2B) and from the UNIBANK bank account to the MonCash wallet (B2W), allowing users to send or receive funds without leaving their homes;

- Faster and more reliable transactions for individuals;

- Increased financial inclusion in both urban and rural areas.
