iciHaiti - Jacmel : Official launch of the 2026 carnival season (Calendar)

On Monday, January 5th, Mayor Loudie César of Jacmel and the 2026 Carnival Committee informed the residents of Jacmel, artists, cultural organizations, the media, and all carnival stakeholders that the official launch of the carnival season will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

The theme of Carnival 2026 is "Jakmèl nan rèv nou ! Jacmel in our dreams !"

Calendar :
February 1st, 2026 : Pre-Carnival Parade
February 8, 2026 : Jacmel Carnival (Parade)
February 15, 16, and 17, 2026 : Carnival Days

The City Hall and the Carnival Committee invite all stakeholders and the public to mobilize to make this edition a major cultural event reflecting the dreams and aspirations of the Jacmel community.
