On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, as part of its strategy to intensify the fight against armed gangs, the Haitian National Police (PNH) conducted a targeted operation in the evening in Delmas 2, in an area identified as a hideout for Jean Gardy, one of the leaders of the "Krache Dife" criminal gang.

During this operation, law enforcement seized a significant quantity of tactical equipment, including several weapons.

Seized Equipment :
• 5 communication radios
• 2 tear gas canisters
• 4 bulletproof vests
• 4 tactical vests
• 4 M14 rifle magazines
• 2 ballistic plates
• 4 uniforms (CIMO, CAT, UDMO, USGPN)
• 2 M4 assault rifles (7.62 mm caliber)
• 2 12-gauge shotguns
• 1 bucket of 5.56 mm ammunition (for M16)
• 1 vest with the inscription "Press"
