Haiti - Brazil 2027 : FIFA launches the 2027 Women's World Cup

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, FIFA officially launched the FIFA Women's World Cup, which will take place in Brazil in the summer of 2027. FIFA unveiled the emblem, slogan, and sonic identity of the competition. Organizers described the event, held in Copacabana, Brazil, as an inclusive and culturally rich celebration, bursting with color and designed to bring warmth and entertainment to fans.

The 2027 World Cup in Brazil will be the 10th edition of the competition and will mark the first time a South American country has hosted the event.

At the launch, FIFA unveiled the official slogan : GO EPIC, which draws its energy from Brazilian culture, particularly its music.

As for the logo, it revolves around the two "W"s (for Women and World), inspired by the Portuguese words Mulheres (Women) and Mundo (World). The design evokes movement and control, while paying homage to the colors of the Brazilian flag.

It's worth noting that for this World Cup, the Haitian team is fighting to secure its place, like many other nations. The zonal qualifiers began in November 2025, where our Grenadières shone with a resounding 9-0 victory against Belize. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46323-haiti-flash-our-grenadieres-crush-belize-[9-0]-world-cup-qualifier-brazil-2027-video.html Our Grenadières' next match is on March 3rd, 2026, against Suriname.

Haiti must finish first in Group D to join the United States and Canada, who have already qualified for the final tournament of the zone. The Grenadières' objective remains unchanged : to return to the World Cup finals after their historic participation in 2023 in Australia.
