iciHaïti - Airports : Two new, state-of-the-art fire trucks received

The National Airport Authority (AAN) officially took delivery of two state-of-the-art fire trucks on January 27th, following a government order. The handover took place in the presence of Raphaël Hosty, Minister of Public Works, as well as Yves Ducarmel François, Director General of the AAN, and his counterpart, Réginald Guignard, from the National Civil Aviation Office (OFNAC).

These new vehicles, veritable technological marvels, will strengthen the emergency response system along two strategic lines :

Operational Excellence :

Designed to respond to the most critical situations, guaranteeing strict alignment of our airports with international standards.

Continuity of Service :

To ensure continuous availability, this acquisition includes a complete set of spare parts, enabling rigorous and preventative maintenance.

Beyond the equipment, the institution is focusing on developing the skills of its human capital. Yves Ducarmel François announced the imminent arrival of specialized technicians to train local professionals. These intensive sessions will guarantee complete mastery and optimal use of this cutting-edge equipment.

This equipment will be assigned to Toussaint Louverture International Airport (AITL) and Cap-Haitien International Airport (AICH), respectively.
