iciHaiti - PNH : Security operation in the Bas de Bel Air neighborhood 01/02/2026 07:58:08
law enforcement conducted an operation this week in the Bas de Bel Air area, near Tiremasse and Traversière streets. This targeted and planned operation led to the discovery and seizure of two firearms : an M14 rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun. These weapons were accompanied by a box of cartridges, three magazines, and a pair of binoculars. A passport and a uniform were also recovered at the scene. The seized items have been placed under seal pending forensic analysis. An investigation is underway to determine the origin and destination of this equipment, as well as to identify any potential owners. IH/ iciHaiti
