iciHaiti - Security : Reopening of the PAP Airport crossroads sub-police station 08/02/2026 09:37:38
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Haitian National Police (PNH) reopened the Airport crossroads sub-police station, which had been attacked, burned, and rendered inoperable in March 2024 by terrorists from the "Viv Ansanm" coalition. Divisional Commissioner Jacques Ader, Departmental Director for the West, stated, "The reopening of this police station sends a clear message to the bandits : the game is over, the offensive will continue." Furthermore, the PNH announced the upcoming reopening of the police station at the Salomon Market in downtown Port-au-Prince. "We ask the population to support its police in the reconquest of our country," concluded Jacques Ader. TB/ iciHaïti
