In a humanitarian context marked by significant vulnerabilities, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), in collaboration with Taiwan (Republic of China), is deploying an exceptional large-scale food distribution operation during the month of February across all Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) sites within the framework of the KORE PÈP program.

This initiative covers several strategic sites, including: MSF, École Nationale Équateur, MAST, MTPTC, Annexe Communication 2, Colombia, Fusion, KID, and OPC.

A total of 303,144 hot meals will be distributed, or 33,000 meals per day, from Thursday, February 5 to Wednesday, February 11, 2026, to meet an urgent and daily food need.

In parallel, a targeted distribution of 1,420 uncooked food kits was carried out at two sites :

• 760 kits at the DDO site,

• 660 kits at the Communication site.

Through this coordinated action, FAES and its partners reaffirm their unwavering commitment to human dignity by providing concrete, rapid, and tailored responses to the needs of displaced populations.
