iciHaïti - Tuesday of Book : Writer Yanick Lahens at the Pétion-ville High School

Through a rich and dynamic exchange, Yanick Lahens, author of "Bain de Lune" (Moon Bath), shared her personal experience and literary journey with the students.

This exchange is part of the National Book Directorate (DNL) initiative to build a genuine bridge between young people and Haitian writers.

During his address, Jean Marc Charles, the school principal, expressed his satisfaction with this DNL initiative, which encourages students to take an interest in reading, literature in general, and Haitian literature in particular.

Alongside the main event, students from the school had the opportunity to showcase their talents. Mike Bauzile performed a slam poem addressing the fight against racism, and Taïchna Exalus expressed herself through song.

In addition, Ricardo Exavier, a regular at "Mardi du Livre" (Tuesday of Book), captivated the audience with two songs.

For his part, the writer Marc Exavier read a poem from his collection entitled "Jeux de Rimes sur Fond de Romance" (Rhyme Games on a Romance Background).
