On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Engineer Théophil Ostinvil, Director General of the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA), organized a ceremony to expand its equipment fleet, commissioning several vehicles and strategic equipment thanks to the support of technical and financial partners, through funds allocated to the Haitian government for the drinking water and sanitation sector and the institution's own funds :

• A set of 24 high-frequency communication radios, activated by CONATEL, capable of facilitating better coordination of field teams;

• A dozen motorcycles that will be assigned to the collection service, facilitating mobility and the efficiency of interventions;

• 2 Toyota Land Cruiser pickup trucks to strengthen the center's logistical and operational capacities.

These vehicles and equipment will allow DINEPA to be more effective and efficient in its management of public drinking water services in the western region.
