During a visit to the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd’H) military base in Vertières, French Ambassador Antoine Michon presented 500 first aid medical kits to the FAd’H High Command.

This equipment will enable Haitian soldiers to provide first aid during operations, particularly in the event of combat injuries. This donation is part of the Phoenix project, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by Expertise France.

During his visit to the Vertières base, officials from the United Nations Support Office in Haiti (BANUH), established by Security Council Resolution 2793 to provide logistical and operational support to the Gang Supression Force (GSF), presented to the French Ambassador the preparations made to accommodate the first FRG contingents starting April 1st. France actively supports the FRG deployment through voluntary financial assistance.

France remains committed to supporting the strengthening of Haitian security forces and the restoration of republican order.
