The Cap-Haitien Municipal Commission held a working session on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to present the project for the redevelopment of the seafront boulevard.

After several studies and analyses, this project was presented as a concrete solution to improve the lives of residents, particularly through :

• The development of a safe, accessible, and functional public space, directly benefiting citizens;

• The implementation of infrastructure aimed at reducing the risks associated with flooding and coastal erosion;

• The improvement of traffic flow and the coexistence of pedestrians, users, and economic activities;

• The creation of spaces that promote relaxation, cultural activities, and economic development;

• The enhancement of the coastline as a collective asset serving the population.
