Pythagore Dumas, the Minister of Youth, Sports, and Civic Action (MJSAC), accompanied by Joseph Innocent, his Chief of Staff, and Jean Roland Dartiguenave, Coordinator of Sports Centers and Parks, conducted an inspection tour of the Thomassin and Sainte-Thérèse sports parks, two major facilities serving young people.

The Minister visited these facilities to assess their operational status, identify structural challenges, and examine modernization prospects.

These visits also allowed the Minister to speak directly with young athletes present at the site, as well as with representatives from football schools, particularly those of FC Toro, who welcomed this initiative. The young people expressed their expectations regarding improved conditions for sports practice and enhanced support for emerging talent.

Furthermore, the managers of both parks submitted requests for support from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) to better address the growing needs of young people for sports infrastructure.

Minister Dumas took the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to strengthening public policies on sports, in line with the Prime Minister's vision of placing youth and sports at the heart of national development.
